Back in August AARP magazine ran a great article on Travel Agents and the pandemic. I can assure you, that when the pandemic took off back in March, I was working with my clients, securing flights home and handling whatever they needed to make it back safely. The months that followed were spent working on my clients behalves to make sure they received refunds and credits sparing them countless hours on the phones... all while loosing income and having to return any commissions earned on the trips.
